Suiteify's Risky Bet: 15,000 Swiss Clients Face Infoniqa's Two-Year Cloud Migration

Infoniqa rebrands as Suiteify and bets on AI to consolidate 30 legacy products in two years. What it means for 15,000 Swiss clients — timeline, risks, and what to watch.

Suiteify's Risky Bet: 15,000 Swiss Clients Face Infoniqa's Two-Year Cloud Migration

One month after Infoniqa’s official rebrand to Suiteify (September 15, 2026), Swiss tech outlet inside-it.ch described the move as a “risky leap” (inside-it.ch, October 8, 2026). The DACH group is consolidating roughly thirty legacy products into a single integrated cloud suite within two years, using AI as its main technology catalyst. For the 15,000 Swiss clients in the group’s portfolio, the question is no longer whether their tools will change — it is how fast, and at what cost.

Background: Thirty Products, One Suite, Two Years

Infoniqa was built through successive acquisitions: BRZ, Hamburger Software, Perview, then the former Swiss Sage products (Sesam, Simultan, Payroll, HCM, acquired between 1999 and 2021), and Run My Accounts, now rebranded as Suiteify Service. The result: approximately 30 products running on distinct technical stacks, 40,000 customers across the DACH region, and 1,200 employees (Netzwoche, September 16, 2026).

CEO Sven Mulder, appointed in February 2026, and Jörg Holzmann, head of the Swiss entity, frame the rebrand as a technological necessity: AI’s rapid progress has opened software development possibilities that simply didn’t exist five years ago (inside-it.ch). The announced investment is in the “high double-digit millions EUR” range, backed by majority shareholder Warburg Pincus (Netzwoche).

What This Means for Swiss Clients in Practice

An inevitable migration with a still-unclear timeline. Current solutions (Sesam, Simultan, Payroll, HCM) remain supported — Jörg Holzmann confirmed this explicitly (inside-it.ch). But the roadmap toward the cloud-native Suiteify suite targets convergence within two years. For any CIO or CFO running these systems, that means acting now: reviewing contract clauses, auditing third-party integrations that will need re-certification, and planning team training. Waiting for the “right moment” to prepare is a reliable way to be caught under pressure once sunset dates are officially announced.

Competitive risk worth watching closely. inside-it.ch identifies Bexio, Abacus, and Microsoft as the likely beneficiaries of the uncertainty generated by this transition (inside-it.ch). For any organisation approaching a contract renewal, the timing is well-suited for a competitive comparison — to confirm whether the Suiteify offering genuinely meets target functional requirements before committing to a legacy product nearing end-of-life.

Vendor concentration risk. Centralising HR, Payroll, Finance, and ERP with a single vendor in the middle of a structural transformation increases lock-in exposure. Reversibility clauses, data export rights, and service continuity commitments need to be negotiated now, not after signing. As a financial investor, Warburg Pincus will have its own return expectations, which could push the migration timeline more aggressively than technical teams can reasonably absorb.

What to Watch

Three indicators to track over the coming months: official communications on the sunset schedule for legacy products (Sesam, Simultan, HCM); pricing on the new Suiteify suite relative to current contracts; and early migration feedback from customers who have already moved to the cloud-native platform. If announced timelines slip or prices increase significantly, the case for switching to Bexio or Abacus will become rational for a meaningful share of the Swiss customer base.
